Hi, my name’s Harry Oulton, welcome to my website. If you’ve found this by accident I’m an author of children’s books. I also blog about books for kids and reading generally, and after years of working in TV, I run courses on screenwriting. If you’re here on purpose then you’ll probably know where you want to go, be it the books page, the school visits or the kids corner.

There’s a lot going on at the moment; The Writing Deck, a tool to vanquish writer’s block is now in all good bookshops, we’ve just filmed the third of the CET Year 8 short films, and I’ve started a PhD! It’s a creative writing PhD at Goldsmiths and broadly I’m adapting four books to create one. I’ll keep you posted on how it’s going.
